We have a full range of diagnostic tools available in the practice, from the intra-oral digital camera, caries detecting Diagnodent laser device, through lower dosage in-surgery digital x-ray units and controlled low dosage OPG scanning x-ray unit which will allow us to take full-scan films in the practice.
These tools assist us to provide the fullest diagnosis of your oral health and hence provide us with all the information necessary to discuss your treatment options and work with you to select the best fit of treatment for your needs.
Our practice is firm in our belief that preventative care is essential to lifelong oral fitness and we work hard to establish a strong foundation for you. Our very experienced dental hygienists are essential to establishing that foundation. Periodontal analysis and recording (a system of charting the health of your gums and soft tissues) is used before scaling and cleaning as required. Oral hygiene instruction and dietary counselling are provided where required and we have a comprehensive range of oral health products to assist in maintaining your dental health.
The Australia Dental Association recommends that people visit their dentist for an evaluation a minimum of twice each year. We provide comprehensive evaluations to all our clients on a regular basis.
A fissure sealant is a “plastic” coating that is bonded to the surface of a tooth and is a very effective way to help children and teens prevent tooth decay.

Root Canal Therapy
