Dr Sarah's going on maternity leave

To all my amazing clients,

I want to let you know that I will begin maternity leave on September 4th, 2023. I am very excited about becoming a mother and want you to know that I will return to Ian Gurner Dental Care after my leave.

After a comprehensive search and interview process, we have been very fortunate to have Dr Giselle Parker join our team. She will look after my clients while I am away but is with us full-time and accepting new clients. I was involved in the interview process, and I found her a warm, gentle and friendly person with excellent communication skills—traits I would want in my dentist.

Giselle is from Canada and spent several years working in various roles within the dental industry in Calgary. Seeking new opportunities, she decided to relocate to Australia with her husband and two young children to pursue her studies in dentistry. Giselle’s dedication paid off when she completed a Bachelor of Oral Health in Dental Science and a Master of Dentistry at Griffith University in Queensland. She initially embarked on her dental career on the Gold Coast but found her way to Tasmania in 2021, driven by her preference for a cooler climate. Since then, Giselle has been actively practising dentistry in local dental practices throughout Tasmania.

I am delighted to know my clients will be in great hands while I am away.

Ian Gurner Dental Care is now accepting new clients. If you have any friends or family looking for a dentist, please pass on our contact details to them.

Kind regards,
Dr Sarah Brunskill
