The Design
A visit to the dentist can, for some people, create a high level of anxiety. We have made a very conscious effort to create a dental environment to alleviate this from the moment a client walks through the door.
The Arrival Areas
We have two Arrival Areas: an open, comfortable bench seating area and a small more private area with two large leather armchairs. The artwork is by three very talented local artists Adrian Barber, Micheila Petersfield, Jacob Leary, and Belinda Winkler. The current version of The Mercury is available each day along with recent issues of several magazines. Free WiFi is available throughout the practice as well as mobile phone charging stations. For the kids, we have K-Zone and Total Girl magazines and iPads with a variety of fun games.
Refreshments
Refreshments are available; espresso, flat white, latte, cappuccino, a selection of teas, still and sparkling water.
The Refresh Area
This well-lit area has a sink, a large mirror and Aesop soaps and hand creams. Clients find this a beneficial part of the practice if they have rushed here from the office and need to brush their teeth before an appointment or just need to refresh and reapply makeup before they leave.
The Ultra Modern Exam Rooms
Each spacious exam room has comfortable memory foam dental chairs, and the walls have large Mondrian inspired murals. There is a handy shelf for a client’s personal belongings below a large mirror and a chair for a parent with a child seeing us to sit. Each room also has mobile phone charging ports.
